Reading, PA - Entech Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce that it was successful in securing more than $1,000,000 in grant awards for several of its clients through the 2023 Local Share Account (LSA) Grant Program. Awards were announced in October of this year. Administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development (DECD) and the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA), these grants are for projects that improve the quality of life of citizens in the community. Grants awarded ranged from $100,000 to over $500,000 to assist with the improvement efforts of various township projects. Clients receiving grants included Wallace Township, North Penn Water Authority, Porter Tower Joint Sewer Authority, and the Township of Spring.
Grant money will be used to complete a variety of projects including sanitary sewer improvements, an elevator addition, pump improvements, and police department improvements.

About the Local Share Authority (LSA) Statewide Grant Programs:
The Local Share Authority (LSA) grant programs were designed to provide funding for projects that improve the quality of life of citizens in the community. Eligible applicants include counties, municipalities, economic development agencies, and redevelopment agencies. Grants awarded through the LSA program offer funding up to $1,000,000 based on specific project requirements. Eligible uses of funds include acquisition, construction, demolition, infrastructure, purchase of vehicles/machinery/equipment, planning and consulting/design costs related to planning projects, engineering (design and inspection), and administrative costs for grant administration.
