Select all of the applicable fuel types or central plant utilities provided to your building.
Energy Use Intensity (EUI) represents the relative efficiency of a building’s energy usage. The EUI combines all energy sources and divides them by the square footage of the building. The EUI allows for the building’s energy to be compared to other buildings of the same type. This analysis will compare the calculated EUI to the median EUI for a building of the same type within the United States.
For multi-building campuses with central utilities, it is important to note that there may be additional savings located at the central utility plant in addition to the building. Central plants should be analyzed separately via a utility master plan.
