Reading, PA – On June 3, 2015 we will be co-presenting “Forming A Regional Authority: Overcoming Barriers” with Eric Moore from West Branch Regional Authority at the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association’s (PWEA) annual technical conference, PennTec. This year’s conference will be in Lancaster, PA from May 31st through June 3rd.
A Regional Authority gives neighboring communities the ability to join together to provide communal municipal services, such as water or wastewater treatment services, more effectively and efficiently. Our presentation will be a “lessons learned” discussion, covering the non-technical issues overcome when two small communities with seven political bodies formed the West Branch Regional Authority, to provide wastewater treatment to its 9,000 constituents.
The presentation will be part of PennTec’s Finance program. Here are the complete details:
Date/Time: Wednesday June 3, 2015: 9:15-9:45am
Title: Forming a Regional Authority: Overcoming the Barriers
Speakers: Eric Moore, West Branch Regional Authority, and Ed Pietroski, Entech Engineering
