Entech’s PA Rural Water Association Presentation Schedule

We will be giving three wastewater presentations and co-presenting on an additional topic at the Pennsylvania Rural Water Association’s (PRWA) 2015 Annual Conference in State College, PA. This year’s conference will take place March 24-27th at the Penn Stater Conference Center. Our presentation topics cover a variety of wastewater collection and treatment topics that will educate municipal wastewater system owners and operators, to help them better manage and run their systems more efficiently.

Wednesday, March 25th

F.O.G. – Fats, Oils, & Greases

This course will give real-world examples of how to control F.O.G. and more technical discussion on design & treatment controls. Includes case studies of common sources and chemical & non-chemical treatment methods.

Nutrient Removal Through the Biological Treatment Process
Chris Hannum, PE | DEP Class #5439
This course will help operators understand nutrient removal from wastewater in a biological treatment process with explanations of biochemical processes to remove Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, and total Nitrogen & Phosphorus.

How Do I Run This DAMN BNR Plant My Engineer Designed

Course on control parameters to operate an Activated Sludge Process designed for Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR). Measurements such as Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids & Dissolved Oxygen and their effect on the BNR process will be discussed. Focus on the day to day adjustments of running a BNR plant. Theory be damned!

Collection System Inspection for Failing Infrastructure
