Reading, PA - John Brady, PE, Project Manager at Entech Engineering (Entech), recently received an Award of Recognition at the Pennsylvania Southeast American Water Works Association (SE PA AWWA)/ Water Works Operators Association of PA (WWOAP) Joint Fall Conference.
John was recognized for his many years of contribution to PA AWWA Southeast District and the Eastern Section WWOAP where he has served on the conference planning committee, chaired the awards committee, and acted as technical liaison with PA AWWA.
The Award of Recognition is given to an individual who has been active in the SE PA Joint Conference for at least five (5) years and has contributed to the planning or implementation of the conference during their years of involvement.
John’s involvement with the SE PA AWWA began in 2008 when he assisted with the AV equipment and became a member of the conference planning committee. After five years in those roles, he served as Vice-Chair for the SE PA AWWA (2011-2012) and then held the Chair position (2012-2013). John also served as Chair of the Awards Committee from its inception in 2012 through 2017.
In addition to his involvement at the local level, John is on the statewide PA AWWA Conference Planning Committee which is responsible for collecting and evaluating abstracts for selection for the Annual Conference. He is also on the Membership Committee.
