Each year the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry announces new public project cost thresholds required for public bids. The thresholds for this year have not increased from 2015 levels.
In 2015, the rates increased 1.7% from 2014 which took effect January 1, 2015. Most government entity projects, including municipal authorities, boroughs, towns, and public schools, will require a written bid when the project totals more than $19,400 in 2015.
See the complete bulletin with all the government entities and legislation via the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
